Horses who need an additional food have access to the FAD, which gives them their daily portions of food safely, several times in the day. Several grain silos allow us to give horse grains or barley melted with vitamins or minerals. This way, each horse has everything he needs. Ordered by a dedicated computer, it handles the quantities and it is connected to the Internet, which allows to follow in live how it goes through the day for each horse. It knows exactly what each horse has already eaten, whenever during the day or the night.

Situated on a strategic place so horses have to walk, it is a double trough so it allows 2 horses to drink at the same time. There are pavements under it so the floor is always dry. It has a constant level so water is always clean. There will be another trough, heated, to avoid problems when it is freezing in winter, and to give horses fresh water in summer.

Horses can find many natural shelters in the fields thanks to big trees, a levee and little windcheater hills. Several shelters representing at least 18 square meters were maid in the active stable zone. We will make others in the next months.

They allow horses to be protected from the rain and the wind when the weather is bad, and to be protected from the sun when it is very hot.

Horses have free access to hay in Durapoly hayracks. They are resistant and really safe, so there is no risk of hurting horses.

The 3 zones of hay are drained and steady thanks to heavy plastic pavements on the floor. Horses and riders still have dry feet all year. These zones are cleaned every day. 

Two fields of at least 6 hectares each are dedicated to horses: one winter and the other one summer, in order to grant access to grass all year. In case of Loire flood, horses are protected thanks to the high zone of the active stable. Then, as soon as fields are drier, we open the fences to the fields.

All the paths of the active stable are made of sand. It allows comfort for riders during winter so they don’t have to walk in the mud. Moreover, it grants comfort for horses. 

They love rolling for a long time and resting in the warn sand.
